Aura Diamonds was founded with a simple mission: to make exceptional diamond jewellery accessible to everyone, without compromising on quality, craftsmanship or the experience.
We are an independent jeweller with a passion for creating bespoke pieces that last a lifetime. Based in Bristol, we work with trusted diamond suppliers and skilled goldsmiths to create engagement rings, wedding bands, eternity bands and pendants, in gold or platinum, that rival the finest jewellery houses, without high street overheads. Every piece tells a story, and we pour the same passion into each one, whether it is a surprise proposal, a milestone anniversary or a gift to yourself.

The rings in our collection are in stock, so you can see them at Castlemead or buy one as it is. Any ring can also be made to your own design. We confirm the design, diamond, metal and size with you before production begins, and check every detail before it reaches you.

Your consultant
Every Aura client works with Francesca, from the first message to the finished ring. She runs our consultations at Castlemead and by video call on Google Meet, talks you through shapes, settings and certificates, and stays with the ring until it is safely in your hands. It is why so many of our reviews mention her by name.
Frequently asked questions
Are your diamonds certified?
Yes. Every centre diamond comes with its own GIA or IGI certificate, which we hand over with the ring. The small accent diamonds in pavé and halo settings are not graded individually. Francesca can tell you their quality when you design your ring.
Do you offer lab-grown and natural diamonds?
Both. We will happily price the same design with each so you can compare like for like. Our honest guide to lab-grown and natural diamonds explains the differences.
Do you make wedding bands, eternity bands and pendants?
Yes. As well as engagement rings, we make wedding bands, eternity bands and pendants in gold or platinum, designed with Francesca. Our wedding bands guide explains the options.
Can my ring be resized?
Yes. Resizing is offered with every ring purchase. Some fully set pavé and eternity styles have less room for adjustment, so we will explain what is possible, and confirm any cost, before you buy. See our ring size guide.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
Consultations are private and by appointment, so you get our full attention. Book online and we will confirm personally.
How does bespoke work?
Start with the ring builder or a design session with Francesca. You choose the shape, setting and metal, we source certified centre stones to compare, and your ring is made to order once you approve the design.
How long does it take?
Rings usually take 2 to 4 weeks to make once you approve the design. The rings in our collection are in stock. Francesca will confirm your date before you commit, so tell us early if you have a proposal date in mind.
How is my ring delivered?
You can collect it by appointment at Castlemead, or we can send it to you by insured delivery. Either way, the ring stays our responsibility until it reaches you. See delivery and returns.
Can we meet by video?
Yes. Francesca offers video consultations on Google Meet, from 9am to 6pm, any day of the week. Choose Video consultation when you book.

Castlemead is on Lower Castle Street in central Bristol, beside Cabot Circus and Castle Park. Use BS1 3AG for sat nav.
Bristol Temple Meads station is about a 15 minute walk, and Bristol bus station about 10 minutes.
Cabot Circus car park is close by. From the M32, follow signs for the city centre and Cabot Circus.
